A High Standard of Charity: Children of Heroes Charity Fund Recognized by Leading U.S. Platforms

The Children of Heroes Charity Fund has earned prestigious international recognition, receiving top honors from two leading American charitable platforms — Candid and GlobalGiving. These awards affirm the Fund’s transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the nonprofit sector.

The Fund has solidified its reputation by achieving the highest level of recognition from Candid — the Platinum Transparency 2025 seal. This is a significant achievement in the charity sector, granted only to organizations that operate with the utmost openness, regularly reporting on fund usage and sharing the impact of their work. As a result, donors can be confident that their support directly benefits children in need. Additionally, donations made to the Fund through Candid, as a 501(c)(3) registered organization, qualify for tax deductions in the United States.

Another major recognition comes from GlobalGiving, the world’s largest crowdfunding platform, which has awarded the Fund three prestigious statuses: Vetted, Top-Ranked, and Effective. These distinctions confirm the organization’s reliability, social impact, and program effectiveness. This means the Fund’s work has been verified and acknowledged by the international community. On GlobalGiving, the Fund runs several key initiatives, including:

Donors can choose specific projects to support and track how their contributions are used. Furthermore, GlobalGiving enables donors from the U.S., the UK, and Canada to receive tax benefits for making donations.

Since joining GlobalGiving in 2023, the Fund has raised over $134,000, which has been directed toward critical aid, including education, psychological support, and humanitarian assistance.

Beyond U.S. platforms, the Children of Heroes Fund is also featured on the Canadian charitable platform Myriad Canada, allowing Canadian citizens to support international initiatives. Through this platform, over $80,000 has already been raised, with an ongoing campaign that matches every donation, doubling its impact. This means even more children receive the crucial support they need. The campaign runs until April 10, 2025, giving donors more time to contribute.

As of February 1, 2025, the Fund supports over 12,499 children, with this number continuously growing. On average, each child requires more than 5000 EUR per year to cover basic needs.

Every contribution made through Candid, GlobalGiving, or Myriad Canada helps provide essential aid —from education and psychological support to fundamental living necessities. Thanks to your generosity, children who have endured loss are given the chance for a stable and successful future.
