Dereville Eco-park, which is located in the largest wildlife sanctuary in Ukraine, is launching a charitable initiative for the children supported by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. As part of their Dereville Charity Days initiative, the eco-park will be fundraising to provide financial support for families who have joined the Fund and will also be organizing free tours for them in the protected areas of the park.
Dereville Charity Day’s goal is to fundraise UAH 300,000 ($8,125 USD). Donations will help cover the critical needs of 60 Ukrainian families. All children under the care of the Fund receive emergency financial assistance immediately upon joining our programs. Emergency financial assistance allows their families to obtain essential supplies to provide for their children.
In addition to financial assistance, the foundation also provides children help in several other areas, including psychological support. The eco-park tours will provide those in our program the opportunity to experience a peaceful natural environment where they will be able to relax, recuperate and relieve a bit of stress. The tours will be available to children and families from the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
