Dear friends, March 2nd is a very special day for us: the Children of Heroes Charity Fund was launched exactly one year ago today! During the past year, we’ve managed to build an amazing vision from scratch, engage a team of motivated professionals, provide over $1.25 million in direct assistance and, to date, have changed the lives of over 3,500 children with our support programs.
As our supporters are aware, the Fund has a unique, hands-on approach to working with affected families through our Family Helpers. Our team of dedicated Helpers plays a crucial role for the Foundation’s beneficiaries. They are the ones who are in constant contact with each family, helping them to resolve difficult situations and assist with just about any request. Our children know they won’t be left alone, even in the toughest of times!
The Family Helpers truly are the heart and lifeline of our Fund, offering a helping hand to every child under our care.
That’s why we’re proud to launch our latest fundraiser to assist even more families and to ensure the existing families under our care stay supported. Our goal is to raise 1 million Hryvnias – around $27,000.
