The team of psychologists from the charity foundation “Children of Heroes” has returned from the International Forum on “Grief Therapy and the Restoration of Ukraine’s Human Capital,” which took place on September 26-27, 2024, in Ivano-Frankivsk. This event was organized by the International Association of Psychologists working with grief and bereavement, with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
The forum brought together leading experts in trauma and loss psychology. Our foundation’s psychologists gained:
- In-depth knowledge about experiencing grief and loss;
- New information on contemporary research in grief therapy;
- New tools for working with the grieving and those experiencing loss;
- Opportunities to exchange experiences and find new partners in this field.
This knowledge will serve as a valuable resource for our team. We continue to work to ensure that every child who experiences loss and turns to us receives professional support and can once again feel the joy of life.
