This year, the MAKHNO studio is joining efforts to support children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. All proceeds from selling Christmas art sculptures DIDO RIZDVO will be donated to the Children of Heroes Charity Fund for the Warmth for Children initiative.
DIDO RIZDVO is no ordinary Christmas decoration. It is an art sculpture by Serhii Makhno that blends Ukrainian traditions, contemporary art, and the spirit of Christmas. Handmade using ancient techniques, it symbolizes warmth, kindness, and family unity.
The campaign to sell these unique art sculptures will start on December 2nd. By purchasing a DIDO RIZDVO, anyone can contribute to a good cause: receive a unique art sculpture, a thank-you note from the Fund, and a drawing by one of the children symbolizing the warmth of home.
The Children of Heroes are those who have experienced loss but find hope thanks to the support of caring individuals. As of November 1, the Fund cares for 10,553 children, and this number grows weekly. The Fund provides humanitarian aid and psychological, medical, and legal support, creating conditions for the children’s development and education until adulthood.
