Family Helpers

The Family Helper program was created to support families in difficult life circumstances. It is aimed at working individually with each family, identifying their needs, finding solutions, and coordinating assistance with other specialists and organizations.

The program provides comprehensive support for families, including:

  • Psychological support during the initial contact
  • Identification and assessment of family and child needs
  • Development of an individual needs map
  • Assistance in addressing urgent issues (medical, social, educational support)
  • Regular monitoring of the situation and updates to the assistance plan
  • Collaboration with other organizations to provide comprehensive support
  • Regular contact with the family — from once a week to once a quarter

Who is eligible for assistance?

The program is available to all families who have submitted the required documents to join the Fund and wish to receive support and assistance.

How does the Family Helper work?

🔹 The daily work of a Family Helper includes communication with families, entering information into the system, organizing assistance, and coordinating with partners. Performance is tracked through a CRM system, regular reports, and feedback from families.

🔹 To prevent emotional burnout, psychological support for helpers includes counseling, group discussions, and training.

This program is designed to help families find solutions to difficult situations and receive the support they need. The Family Helper is centered around care, understanding, and concrete actions aimed at improving the quality of life for families.

  1. A Family Helper is assigned to each family, with one helper per family, regardless of the number of children.
  2. Age categories: the program is available to all age categories.
  3. Program duration: permanent and mandatory.
  4. Service delivery format: a helper is assigned to a family on the day of joining the Fund. From that moment, the family gains access to all assistance programs based on the criteria of each program.
  5. Criteria for selecting children for assistance programs: children of all categories are eligible.
  6. Program status: active.
  7. Number of children who have already received assistance: 11,104 children.

табір «Воловець» у Карпатах

З перших днів повномасштабного вторгнення Юрій пішов добровольцем на фронт. На жаль, чоловік загинув під Бахмутом. Ця трагедія стала справжнім ударом для його дружини Галини та двох донечок — 13-річної Таїсії та 11-річної Іринки. Емоційний стан донечок був вкрай нестабільним: вони закрились в собі.

Від фонду «Діти Героїв» сімʼя Найдухів отримала можливість поїхати до табору «Воловець» у Карпатах. Це табір психоемоційної стабілізації для сімей, що постраждали від війни. З перших днів у таборі розпочались позитивні зміни. Вони ходили в гори, малювали, співали, купалися в чанах. Галина каже, що вона вперше після трагедії добре спала. А дівчата, які категорично відмовлялись йти до психолога, після табору самі висловили бажання розпочати роботу з фахівцем!
